WHO WE ARE

 

Project 13 Gyms was founded in 2018 under the belief that fitness, Mindset and Group connection have the ability to transform people beyond what they thought was possible.  Focusing on these three elements and the idea that it’s a never ending project of continuous improvement, we believe we’re building better humans through that process.

In a fitness industry that’s saturated with thoughtless workouts and no true connection, Project 13 is the antithesis of those places and instead fosters an environment for true growth through genuine connection, thoughtful work, and a focus on individualization.

In short, we cut through the bullshit to provide you with high quality programming and coaching and none of the fluff and fake stuff.

We provide a unique spin on a traditional strength and conditioning model that will allow you to build strength and fitness through the use of barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, bodyweight movements, rowers, ski ergs and fan bikes.  In addition to that, we’ve refined our method over time to ensure that we provide workouts that will improve performance without sacrificing longevity.

Thomas considers himself a lifelong learner and teacher. His goal is to empower individuals to become the best versions of themselves using fitness as a tool of self discovery.

MICHAEL CALA

Manager & Coach

Michael considers himself as a student and a creator. His goal is to have people enjoy life, using fitness as a tool to help those people get the most out of themselves. 

 

JARED TAYLOR

Coach

Jared advocates, keeping an active lifestyle through various outlets, walking, strength training and any other hobbies that provide health benefits, enjoyment, longevity and life balance. 


HIIT CONDITIONING

High Intensity Interval Training to improve endurance and cardiovascular output. We’ll combine floor exercises with one or more cardio machines (Row, Ski, and Bike).

UPPER STRENGTH

Work on upper body strength in Studio A. We’ll use barbells, dumbbells, and kettlebells, along with bodyweight exercises.

LOWER STRENGTH

A targeted lower body workout with a focus on strength and quality movement. We’ll use barbells and kettlebells as the main weighted movements.
